RINGLEADERS REVENGE, BY 1ST PHORM
FLOATER WOD
*Work any way you want to gain as many reps as possible on both elements.
*All athletes will have from (roughly) 9am-5pm Saturday and 9am-2pm (or the last heat of your respective division, whichever is earlier) to complete the floater WOD. If you wait too long, and there’s a long line, you might end up with a no-score so get it in (we will NOT go longer than the times noted or last heat/last event of a respective division, because we need to prepare awards and verify scoring.)
4 Minute AMRAP
Max meters on ski erg AND max feet pushed with sled.
Details: 3, 2, 1…athletes decide how they wanna do it - but go. Max effort ski erg and sled push. There will be a men’s weight and women’s weight set (we need to get the sleds on the turf to actually select weight/meter resistance, but it’ll be available to test Friday evening after the standards meeting). Meters on ski erg will be recorded when meter gauge stops ticking up (athlete must release handles at “time up” or will be penalized, but we will let meters run to a stop). Feet will be recorded in 5ft increments, down and back is 100 feet - once judge calls time, athlete must take hands off sled for judge to record total distance. We ask that athletes return sled to start position and initial by their recorded scores.
DIVISION SPECIFICS
NA - same weight for all divisions (men’s divisions heavier than women’s). If it’s light, go fasters. If it’s heavy, strategize accordingly.
STANDARDS
sled push: athletes must start every “lap” fully behind start/finish line, and push facing forward, and turn sled around fully at each turning point - you may use hands, shoulders, etc to push
ski erg: must start with hands off, and past that point athletes may do whatever - athletes are responsible for keeping their ski erg “active” so it doesn’t turn off, and we ask that athletes control handles so they don’t break
SCORING
This is worth 1 event based on the combined totals of both elements. Score 1 is meters on ski erg - most meters wins, score 2 is feet sled pushed - most feet wins. Let’s say you place 6th in the ski erg, and 4th in the sled push, you now have 10 points which get you an overall ranking in the event.
