A DECADE OF THE CF CIRCUS. A decade of competition and camaraderie. A decade of freak-show fitness. A decade of sweat and smiles. This is it. THE 12TH ANNUAL CF CIRCUS.

Amazing events, the highest quality athlete experience, improved live leaderboard/scoring, kickass prizes as always and more!  

The CF Circus has been Iowa's premier functional fitness competition since 2013, providing an opportunity for athletes of all ages and abilities to experience a fun weekend of competition and camaraderie. Over the years, our team format has varied from 2-4 athletes, same-gender and coed…but our programming and participation numbers have never wavered. The CF Circus brings in over 500 athletes annually, nearly 2000 spectators, and a ton of great vendors and sponsors. Between our annual winter CF Circus, and a couple fun summer events, 2023 will be our 13th major competitive events and our 10th Annual CF Circus - to date, we’ve given out nearly $110,000 in cash, prize packages totaling a value over $140,000, and even our volunteers have walked away with great raffle items and giveaways.

2024 details (STAY TUNED FOR 2025 DETAILS):

  • Format: Same-sex pairs, RX/Intermediate/Novice, plus a shot for our Masters to take home a win within their respective division

  • Where: Ignit, 200 SE 37th Street, Grimes, IA 50111

  • Vendors: You will have an assigned booth, and can set up either Friday afternoon/evening OR Saturday morning

  • Spectators: Admission prices/times will be posted prior to event

  • Time (detailed schedule will be posted closer to event):

    • 1/26/24

      • Early bird check-in will be Friday afternoon/evening

      • Standards meeting (live at venue) will be Friday evening

    • 1/27/24

      • Events will begin no later than 8:30am (likely earlier) - each division will complete 2 events wrapping up no later than 7:00pm (likely earlier)

    • 1/28/24

      • Events will begin no later than 8:30am (likely earlier) - each division will complete 2 events wrapping up no later than 4:30pm (likely a bit earlier)
