FORMAT

For Time - 12 Minute Cap:

  • Worm Grace (30 clean and jerks)

  • 30 synchro over-worm burpees

  • Worm Grace (30 clean and jerks)

Details: 3, 2, 1…Both athletes will approach the worm and complete 30 clean and jerks - every 10, athletes will move forward to a new “station”. Once all 30 clean and jerks are complete, athletes will advance worm to burpee section and complete 30 synchro over worm burpees (athlete burpees will occur on opposite sides of worm). Following 30 burpees, athletes will again advance worm and complete another 30 clean and jerks advancing to the finish line once complete.

Score is time. For those who cap, .01 seconds will be added for each rep not completed.

    • RX: 140/110

    • Intermediate: 130/90

    • Novice: 90/75

STANDARDS

worm clean and jerks: reps come from the floor each time - athletes pull worm to same shoulder, then press/jerk overhead to other shoulder, and finish rep when they return/drop worm to the ground.

synchro over-worm burpees: rep begins with athlete’s chests-to-deck simultaneously (but on opposite sides of the worm - parallel to the worm), and rep is complete when both athletes ascend and two-foot hop (novice can step) to other side of worm (athletes will start and finish each rep on opposite sides)
