Athletes may break up reps in any way they see fit, but each athlete must complete at least 1 of every movement (including row – 1 meter minimum). Athletes will all begin in the starting area – one athlete may begin sitting on the rower, and when the timer begins rowing may begin.  Transitions may happen whenever, and however athletes want, but each individual must accumulate at least 1 meter (athlete must be sitting, feet strapped in, and at least a single pull for it to count).  Once all cals/reps are complete, the entire team will advance to the next movement.  A single athlete may not proceed until all reps are complete. Once athletes complete their final rep of the final movement all athlete must be on the finish line for a finish time.  If a team hits the time cap, a second will be added for every rep not completed.

  • Standards
    • Row – Each athlete must contribute at least one meter, achieved only with athlete seated, feet strapped in and at least one pull.
    • Chest-to-Bar – Athlete must begin movement with arms fully extended and feet behind the vertical plane.  As athlete ascends, chest must make contact with bar.  Butterfly and kipping are permitted.
    • Pull-Up – Athlete must begin movement with arms fully extended and feet behind vertical plane.  As athlete ascends, chin must get over horizontal plane of bar.  Butterfly and kipping are permitted.
    • Ring Row – Athlete must begin with rings completely vertical and arms fully extended.  Legs may be straight OR bent.  As athlete ascends, chest must make contact with bottom of rings.
    • Pistols
      • Weighted – Athlete must begin on a single leg, descending until hip crease falls below knee crease – keeping other foot entirely off ground.  Athlete must ascend showing full control and extension (hip and knee) at the top before putting other foot down.  Athlete may hold wallball in any position, but it may not make contact with floor.
      • Standard – Athlete must begin on a single leg, descending until hip crease falls below knee crease – keeping other foot entirely off ground.  Athlete must ascend showing full control and extension (hip and knee) at the top before putting other foot down.
    • Hang Power Cleans
      • Athlete must begin by completely deadlifting the barbell, then descending into the hang position to begin the movement.  From there, athletes must catch bar and show full extension of hips and knees with barbell in front rack position (elbows in front of barbell).
    • Hand Walks
      • All 3 athletes will complete their first full 25 foot handwalk before going onto their 2nd, and so on.  Athletes must successfully complete 12.5 foot increments (or an unbroken 25 ft) to avoid starting over.  Movement is complete when both hands pass the 25 foot finish line.
    • Wheelbarrows
      • Each athlete must complete 3 25 foot handwalks (with any teammate holding legs).  Teammate must support handwalker below knees (between ankles and knees).  Hands begin behind the start line, and athlete is finished when both hands cross.  Wheelbarrows must be unbroken for 25 feet.  Athletes may complete in any order.
    • Buddy Carries
      • Each athlete must complete 3 25 foot carries (with any teammate being carried).  Carrier may position teammate in anyway, but teammate may not touch the ground at any point.  Carries begin with both athletes behind the start line, and the movement is finished when both athletes are across the finish line.  Buddy carry must be unbroken for 25 feet.  Athletes may complete in any order.
    • Scoring
      • Time all athletes are at the designated finish line will earn a placement. If a team hits the time cap, 1 second will be added to the time cap for each rep not completed.
        • Example
          • Athletes complete all but 2 hand walks (or variation of), time for placement would be 16:02
